With Mockingjay - Part 1 in theaters after an interesting marketing campaign, Life in District 13 would like to share our highlights of the Mockingjay - Part 1 Marketing Campaign.
5. Logo. We loved the logo! Make it even GREATER next year.
4. Trailers: Fans had to wait months and months for the first Mockingjay - Part 1 trailers to hit the web. It was very nail-biting when a trailer rumor would hit the web. While we did have to wait for the trailers, it was well worth it. Most of the trailers included decent footage, which kind of (not really) calmed us down when we were waiting for the movie.
Next Year: No doubt about it, we would love to see more footage in the trailers than we did this year. Also, if possible, we would love to see at least 2 Teaser Trailers, 1 Full Length, and a Final Trailer all in a timely matter.
3. TV Spots: The TV Spots were amazing. I actually cried upon seeing, "Most Anticipated," released by Samsung. We thought this was very well done and included very good amounts of footage.
Next Year: More of course! We thought it was perfect this time around.
2. #UnlockMockingjay, #OurLeadertheMockingjay, District 13.Co.in & Clips: When the Our Leader the Mockingjay App came out, that was really cool. I still use it today! But overall, the clips were pretty amazing. I mean, they really were. Of course, we wish we had more, but of course, we had fun.
Next Year: More things like this, in example, more hacks on District 13.co.in before the movie comes out, more clips, more apps, because that was pretty awesome.
1. The Capitol.PN
When TheCapitol.PN launched, I was so excited! It was awesome to go on and access the Capitol's website. Oh, and I mean the two Propaganda videos....amazing. More, more!
Next Year: More things to do and see from the Capitol's POV, much more Capitol Propaganda and maybe a few Capitol Clips! This would be really cool. Maybe we'd see Snow talking with Egeria and the Antonius, it would be really really interesting..
