Just this week, the newly released "The Hanging Tree," Rebel Remix surfaced online. The remix, which adds pops, snaps and beats to the original song, drew mixed reaction. We posted the link a couple of nights ago, expecting various opinions. We asked fans to answer:
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE RADIO EDIT OF THE HANGING TREE?
Long story short, many didn't like it... and many did. The reasons ranged from, "I never liked the song anyways," to "The whole purpose of the song is ruined." Our opinion is below. Just take this FUZE poll for instance:
In our opinion, while the beat is catchy, the whole song is ruined. The whole purpose is not to dance to song -- especially a song about hanging. It's definitely a Capitol-styled move.
