Francis Lawrence won the CinemaCon 2015 'Director of the Year' Award last night (congratulations!) and also sat down with Collider to discuss, yes, Mockingjay - Part 2!

  • The first cut of the movie was 2 hours and 50 minutes; so without credits about 2 hours and 40 minutes. (Credits are usually about 10 minutes) The current length of the movie is 2 hours and 7 minutes; excluding credits -- which is MUCH longer than Mockingjay - Part 1.
  • The final scene -- yes, that epilouge -- will probably be shot in late May!
  • There is no soundtrack news because we are in the 'early days' of the film.
  • Francis Lawrence thinks Lionsgate will be at Comic-Con, which debuted the teaser trailer last year and was a fun expirence for fun The Hunger Games' fans.
  • Francis will be at The Hunger Games Exhbition premiere.
  • On the trailer, Francis knows you are tweeting him! But, calm down. He says we need to 'practice patience' and that we shouldn't expect the trailer so early.
Take a look at the video above and congratulations to Francis Lawrence!
