BVI will launch Mockingjay 2 on November 19th in all available formats including IMAX 3D as part of the film's day-and-date global rollout. "Mockingjay 2 is the next thrilling chapter of an incredible global franchise, and we look forward to creating a singular motion picture event for Russian audiences," said BVI international distribution executive David Kornblum. "We're delighted to extend our partnership with our friends at Lionsgate on one of the most highly anticipated films of the year."
Now, back to the Disney part of the matter.
A couple of months ago, we tweeted this Tumblr post by user JordieBo. You can see the poster to the left. So, when we think of Disney and The Hunger Games, we think of that kind of movie.
So, what impact could Disney have on Mockingjay - Part 2?
For starters, Russian fans could see some Mockingjay - Part 2 trailers with Disney Movies in Theaters! I mean, it would be kind of weird going to see G rated movie and then... Mockingjay - Part 2 shows up. Interesting!
